LAST NOVEMBER ONCE AGAIN HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO MORE HUMANITARIAN WORK ONCE AGAIN.

2. Cataract Eye operations, Bone density test and Dental treatment .

Sursingh is a very special place for me though I only visited it for the first time when I visited it about 12 months before I arranged to do something good in my ancestral place.
I met village elders who were very helpful to show me my grand parents place where they lived, since we no longer have any close relatives there any longer that either me or my family would know of in the village.

Only my eldest brother knew some of these people as he had been to India while my Grandad was alive but he go very ill and sadly soon passed away.

Therefore I felt I had a very special attachment to this place due to linked of my father and mother who spent their childhood days there with my grand parents. Before my Granddad moved to East Africa in 1940's  later my parents followed him but my grand mother lived in India all her life.

 Humanitarian work in Punjab India.

1. Free Mammography checks , Cytology tests for women in remote villages of Punjab, including  BP checks, ECG and Diabetes checks for men and women.

  
2. Free Cataract Eye operations, Bone density  and free dental treatment. 


I have not been able to update this due to taking on more commitments including the role of the President of Lions Club of Coventry Godiva for 12 months. I am glad it was only for one year, but does require a lot to meet the demands of duty.

Therefore this has been long due, this time last year I was in India once again continuing to do something that I enjoy helping those who are unfortunate and in great  need, only get support from NRI or through other sources of support .
